Entertainment | ‘Shrek The Musical’ to arrive in Macau

Shrek The Musical” will take to the stage in Macau as part of its first international tour. The play is based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film that tells the story of an ogre who embarks on a mission to rescue a feisty princess. The English-language production will play at the Venetian Theater from July 22 to August 7.
“Shrek The Musical” features a story and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire (“Rabbit Hole,” “Good People”), music by Olivier Award-
winner Jeanine Tesori. It is choreographed by Chris Bailey and directed by Stephen Sposito, who served as associate director for the Broadway revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
