Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has been awarded the “Excellence in Social Positive Impact – Commendation” at the 8th Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA), becoming the first integrated resort operator in Macau to receive the recognition.
GEG said in a statement that it has consistently promoted environmental protection, community development, and employee well-being.
Its initiatives include youth empowerment programs in collaboration with government departments and associations, support for local SMEs, and organization of cultural, entertainment, and sports events to foster community engagement.
The company also emphasizes creating a safe, inclusive workplace with training and professional development programs.
The gaming operator has previously received awards such as the Sustainability Award from the International Gaming Awards and Best Overall CSR Program at the 2025 IAG Academy IR Awards. Its properties also hold multiple EarthCheck certifications and LEED Gold Certification.
