Galaxy organizes charity sessions of ‘Sea Cruises’

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently organized several charity sessions of Sea Cruises for nearly 150 members from over 10 local organizations.

The aim was to deepen participants’ understanding of the cultural history of Macau’s sea-land landscape. The sea cruises offered a panoramic view of Macau’s iconic skylines.

GEG also arranged professional docents to share insights into Macau’s Coloane and Taipa development, maritime history, coastal features, and fishing port culture. As part of the experience, Ho Kim Pui was invited to perform ‘Saltwater Songs,’ dialectal folksongs listed as one of Macau’s intangible heritages. This performance aimed to recreate the daily life of local fishermen in the past.

GEG launched the GEG Sea Cruises in October last year to showcase Macau’s renowned landmarks and maritime landscape. The initiative is part of a revitalization project jointly organized by the Macau SAR Government and GEG to promote Macau’s land-sea tourism experiences.
