Galaxy showcases table tennis culture with rare racket exhibition

As Macau prepares to co-present the WTT Champions Macao 2025 and host the table tennis events of the 15th National Games, a cultural program has been launched to complement the sporting calendar.
Galaxy Macau’s cultural arm, GalaxyArt, is presenting “The Artistry of Table Tennis – Collectables & Art Exhibition” at East Square.
The exhibition traces the history and design of the sport through more than 40 rare rackets, from 19th-century vellum-covered models to today’s carbon-fiber versions.
The display is organized into five themes, including the evolution of rackets, pioneering designs, global icons, and modern innovations. Cabinets inspired by the Ruins of St. Paul’s highlight Macau’s heritage, while a large-scale installation of giant rackets and balls recreates the sport’s energy.
The exhibition runs daily until January 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
