Gov’t strengthens e-commerce ties at shopping festival

The Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) led a local delegation to the 2025 Beijing Live E-Commerce Shopping Festival, co-hosted by Beijing’s commerce authorities. A cooperation agreement was signed between the Beijing Electronic Commerce Association and the Macau Live Broadcast Association to enhance digital economy collaboration. Major platforms such as JD.com, Meituan, and Douyin launched promotions to boost spending. The event also featured 60 Macau-made products in a dedicated “Macau Quality Products Exhibition Zone,” promoting local brands to a wider audience.
