In celebration of Mid- Autumn Festival and the first edition of Art Macao, Grand Lisboa Hotel are presenting designed mooncake gift boxes this year.
Dim Sum Head Chef Yau Wah Fai of The 8, Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant has introduced a new mooncake this year – ‘The 8 Mooncake with Assorted Nuts’.
The gift box for ‘The 8 Mooncake with Assorted Nuts’ was designed after the paintings of “Hibiscuses” by Wu Guanzhong and “Coin du Jardin” by Paul Gauguin.
“The design of the mooncake gift box is a beautiful blend of the two classical Chinese and Western art forms, and bridges the cultures of East and West,” according to the hotel in a press release.
The mooncakes will be ready for collection between August 30 and September 13, 2019 at The Hamper House or Round-The-Clock Coffee Shop.
