“Light Up Macao 2025” officially opened on Saturday, illuminating Nam Van, Northern, and ZAPE districts. The event, which runs until January 11, 2026, features 28 light and interactive installations by creative teams from Macau, China, Portugal, Korea, the U.S., and Australia. Highlights include a 3D mapping show on the Macao Grand Prix Museum façade and a themed carnival in the evening with local delicacies in ZAPE. The free displays run nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and free shuttle buses will also operate, serving the three districts during the event. The event is organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
