Macao Light Rapid Transit (LRT) announced that it will pilot relaxed size restrictions for bicycles on trains and in stations every Saturday and Sunday from May 9 to Aug. 30. The trial targets folding or single-body bikes to accommodate increased cyclist demand on weekends. According to MLM, bikes must be folded or have a wheel removed before entering stations, with a maximum length not exceeding 180 cm; those originally 130 cm or shorter are exempt. Objects with length, width and height summing over 170 cm, or any side over 130 cm, are banned.
