Macau was promoted as a multi-destination travel hub during a tourism presentation held in London, as officials showcased opportunities created by China’s new visa-free policy for British travelers. Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the event introduced the city’s latest attractions and cultural experiences to more than 100 travel trade representatives and media. Officials said the policy, allowing British citizens to visit China for up to 30 days without a visa, could encourage combined trips to Macau, the Greater Bay Area, and mainland cities.
