Macau sends record 14 athletes to National Games Wushu events

Macau will send a record 14 athletes to compete in the Wushu events at this year’s Games, which feature 12 gold medals across Taolu and Sanda categories held in Guangzhou and Zhanjiang. Taolu athlete Weng Ian Wong said she hopes to perform steadily and do her best, while coach Iao Chon In noted the Games also serve as preparation for the 2026 Asian Games. Macau athletes will also compete in boxing, judo, archery, sailing, and rowing events.
