Ferry services connecting Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal and Taipa Maritime Terminal with Shenzhen’s Shekou Ferry Terminal will resume today, following a suspension in mid-March to the COVID-19 outbreak in the neighboring region. The Maritime and Water Affairs called on the public to reduce cross-border activities and to heighten the cleaning of vessels due to the pandemic. China locked down Shenzhen in mid-March as virus cases doubled nationwide and undertook three rounds of mass testing.
IC to co-organize 2022 Scripts in Focus
The Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau will jointly launch the Film Scriptwriting Advanced Program. The Cultural Affairs Bureau will hold sharing session regarding further details of the event in late April. The “2022 Scripts in Focus — Film Scriptwriting Advanced Program” aims to cultivate more filmmaking talent and reserve a batch of excellent film scripts.
Co-organizer the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will host a sharing session on April 22 at 3 p.m. at the Multi-function Room of the Macao Grand Prix Museum, introducing the details of the program. A total of four Macau film projects were shortlisted in the program last year, of which the Macau production My Driver Father and Me by Niko Ho won the prize.
