MGM Advances National Education and Pride Through Multi-Channel Engagement

MGM co-hosted a May Fourth Youth Day event.

MGM has taken a proactive and sustained role in promoting national pride and advancing national education in Macau. By integrating youth development, policy awareness and cultural learning, the Company has created a comprehensive model that strengthens national identity within both its team members and the wider community.

At the forefront of these efforts, MGM partnered with the Fu Lun Youth Association of Macau to host a May Fourth Youth Day event focused on Greater Bay Area opportunities. The session gathered nearly 200 team members and youth representatives to commemorate the 107th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. Featuring insights into youth policies under the 15th Five-Year Plan, the event brought together leading speakers to explore innovation, entrepreneurship and national development, encouraging participants to align their aspirations with the Country’s long-term growth.

MGM held its annual “Two Sessions” sharing session.

MGM also places strong emphasis on understanding national policy direction through its annual “Two Sessions” sharing session. Led by Pansy Ho, Chairperson & Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, this year’s sharing featured keynote speakers from the National People’s Congress (NPC) and National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attracting over 4,000 participants online and offline. The session highlighted Macau’s unique role within the national framework, particularly as the Country advances goals such as developing a “strong tourism nation”. By linking these macro policies with real opportunities in cultural tourism and the Greater Bay Area, MGM helps its team members and young participants better position themselves within the national agenda.

Beyond this, MGM has consistently organized visits to the annual National Security Education Exhibition, enabling team members to understand firsthand the critical relationship between national security, social stability and economic prosperity. Since the exhibition’s launch in 2018, the Company has arranged regular visits to deepen team members’ understanding of national security. This year, MGM once again led management and staff to attend in phases, complemented by online learning and internal engagement initiatives. Through these multi-channel efforts, the program has reached nearly 5,200 team members to date.

MGM organized visits in GBA for the youth.

Additionally, MGM has introduced various programs for younger generations, offering hands-on exposure to sectors ranging from innovation and finance to cultural tourism. Internal learning platforms, such as Chinese cultural knowledge programs, further strengthen team members’ knowledge of the nation’s heritage and culture. Together, MGM’s contributions to these initiatives are shaping a generation that is informed, confident and closely connected to the nation’s future, while supporting Macau’s continued integration into national development. Looking ahead, both MGM and the city are well-positioned to seize opportunities, uphold shared values, and advance in step with the Country’s long-term vision.
