Rising star Shang Juncheng also made headlines by defeating Kei Nishikori 6-3, 6-4 in a friendly exhibition match characterized by “trick shots, comedic antics, and infectious laughter.” Shang expressed his delight, stating, “Exhibitions are always special. I really enjoy my time here.”

The event was organized by MGM and IMG and marked a significant moment in tennis as Asia’s first mixed-gender format tournament. Muchova praised the experience in Macau, saying, “They treat us so well, and there are so many fans.” NS
