The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has partnered with a Hong Kong–Macau bus service operator to launch a special offer of free direct coach tickets from the restricted area of Hong Kong International Airport to Macau for international visitors arriving in Hong Kong.
Starting today, the special offer aims to attract more international visitors for extended stays in Macau and to expand international visitor markets.
The initiative follows previous offers of free bus tickets across the border in 2024 and 2025, and the offer will remain valid until the end of this year.
Upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport, eligible international visitors can complete the required formalities at the designated counter in the restricted area to obtain free one-way coach tickets for direct transfer from the SkyPier Terminal to Macau via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge.
The new promotion will be advertised by both the MGTO and the service operator, who will roll out a series of online and offline activities about the special offer via social media, and in collaboration with airlines and travel agencies in different destinations.
Visitors can also make advance bookings on the service operator’s official website. The offer is unlimited during the promotion period and can be used multiple times. RM
