MPU launches ‘One Test, Multiple Certificates’ program

A new cross-border certification program for construction workers has been launched, allowing professionals in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to earn credentials recognized in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau through a single examination. The initiative, known as the “One Test, Multiple Certificates” program, is designed to facilitate the mobility of skilled labor and standardize qualifications within the construction industry. The pilot program, which concluded in September, saw 79 construction practitioners from the three regions complete training and examinations. Of these, 13 individuals from Macau were among the first group to receive the newly recognized credential for civil engineering supervision.
