Qingmao Port hits 100 million passengers

The Qingmao Port has surpassed 100 million cumulative travellers since opening in September 2021, the Public Security Police announced Monday. Its 24-hour, innovative customs system streamlines border checks with one-stop clearance, reducing processing to about 20 seconds, making it an attractive port choice. Last year, Qingmao accounted for 16.3% of Macau’s passenger traffic. PSP data shows that from January to July 2025, more than 20.786 million passengers passed through the port, averaging about 98,000 daily, a 1.8% increase year-over-year. Macau residents accounted for 53.5%, non-resident employees 36.2%, and mainland tourists 6.2%.
