‘Road Safety Carnival’ to be held this Sunday at Tap Seac Square

Organized by the Transport Bureau (DSAT), the annual “Road Safety Carnival” will take place once more at the Tap Seac Square at 2.30 p.m. this Sunday.

Participants of the event will have the opportunity to try booths  with games, family workshops and driving simulators for children, among other activities related to road and traffic safety. As part of the event, a group of side activities will also occur, including musical
performances.

This year, the activities promoted by DSAT in cooperation with the Public Security Police Force (PSP), the Legal Affairs Bureau and the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, will run under the motto “Road Safety: It is not enough to know, it is necessary to do,” aiming to raise awareness of the importance of paying attention to road safety by respecting traffic rules in their daily life.

In addition to the program, the DSAT also informed that the Bureau and PSP Traffic Department would organize activities and workshops at a number of private schools and community centers.
