Scorching temperatures expected in coming days

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) issued a yellow heat warning yesterday, forecasting persistently hot weather in Macau over the coming days, with maximum temperatures in some areas reaching 33 degrees Celsius or above. Tomorrow could see highs of up to 35 degrees. The bureau expects that until Sunday, Macau will be influenced by the outer subsiding air currents of tropical cyclone Bavi, bringing generally clear and scorching conditions to the Guangdong coast, with possible afternoon thundershowers triggered by high temperatures.
