Coloane speed cameras to be activated from Feb. 1
The Transport Bureau (DSAT) has announced that four new speed detection devices in Coloane will come into operation at midnight on Feb. 1. The locations include Estrada do Altinho de Ká Hó, Estrada de Hac Sá, Avenida de Luís de Camões, and the intersection of Estrada de Hac Sá and Avenida de Luís de Camões. The bureau said the move aims to enhance road safety and respond to concerns raised by local residents and organizations. Drivers who exceed the speed limit may face fines of MOP600 to MOP20,000, and repeat or serious offenders may be prohibited from driving.
