Showers and thunderstorms expected to persist through early next week
The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau forecasts that Macau will gradually come under the influence of an easterly airstream today, bringing occasional showers. Intermittent showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue tomorrow. The bureau said a low-pressure trough combined with a southwesterly airflow is likely to bring more frequent showers and thunderstorms from later this week through early next week, with periods of heavy rainfall possible.
