Six decades of speed: Wynn hypercar exhibition showcases Automotive Legends

More than 20 hypercars spanning six decades of automotive design are now on display at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, bringing together some of the industry’s most recognizable models as part of the fourth edition of the “Wynn Signature – 2026 Hypercar Exhibition.”
The exhibition, which opened on Sept. 23 and runs through Nov. 22, traces the development of high-performance road and track cars from the 1960s to the present. The free public display features models from Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Pagani and Aston Martin, among others.

Rather than presenting the cars solely as collector objects, the exhibition offers a snapshot of how automotive design and engineering have changed over the decades. The models on display range from cars that helped define the early era of road-going supercars to more recent machines that combine internal-combustion engines with hybrid technology and increasingly specialized track-focused engineering.
Among the most prominent displays are three Ferrari flagship models at Wynn Palace – the F40, F50 and LaFerrari – representing different stages in the marque’s development of high-performance technology. The F40 was created to mark Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, while the F50 incorporated Formula 1 technology. The LaFerrari introduced hybrid technology to the brand’s flagship range.

Four Porsche models are displayed at Wynn Macau, including the 959, Carrera GT, 935 and 911 GT3 RS 4.0. Together, the cars span different eras of engineering, from the electronically controlled all-wheel drive and twin-turbocharged technology of the 959 to the naturally aspirated engine of the 911 GT3 RS 4.0.
The exhibition also includes the Porsche 935, a track-only model limited to 77 units and inspired by the marque’s “Moby Dick” racing car, as well as the 911 GT3 RS 4.0, regarded as a high point for naturally aspirated engines and a model of interest to collectors.
The selection also illustrates the increasingly blurred boundaries between automotive engineering, fashion and popular culture. The BAPE x Pagani Huayra R, for example, carries a BAPE STORE MACAU CAMO livery and reflects a collaboration between Pagani and the streetwear brand. The track-only Huayra R is limited to 30 units worldwide and is being displayed in connection with the opening of the BAPE store at Wynn Palace.

This year›s exhibition draws inspiration from the 2026 Year of the Fire Horse, with Wynn using the theme to connect the display with ideas of speed, movement and innovation. The event also coincides with the Macau Grand Prix season, linking the exhibition to the city’s longstanding motorsport culture.
Wynn Macau president, vice chairman and executive director Linda Chen said, “Macau boasts a rich motorsport heritage through the legendary Macau Grand Prix – a proud tradition that spans more than 70 years and has become the city’s unique cultural signature. By continuing to host the ‘Wynn Signature – Hypercar Exhibition’ each year, Wynn aims to leverage Macau’s distinctive strengths – blending cutting-edge automotive craftsmanship and premium lifestyle experiences with integrated tourism – to offer visitors an unparalleled, world-class journey.”
The exhibition is supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office and the Sports Bureau and is open to the public at both Wynn properties through Nov. 22. MDT Review
