SMG launches new temperature advisory services

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) has introduced a “Temperature Drop Alert” service and “Feels-Like Temperature” information yesterday to enhance public weather guidance. The alert notifies residents in advance of significant temperature drops during the autumn-winter season, while the feels-like data combines real-time temperature, humidity, and wind speed to reflect actual outdoor conditions. SMG said it will continue improving services and urged the public to follow updates to better prepare for extreme weather.
