SSM launches pregnancy platform on One Account

The Health Bureau (SSM) launched a new “Maternal Health Management Platform” on the Macao One Account app, providing comprehensive health management for pregnant women.
This new platform is a comprehensive digital service created for pregnant women and new mothers throughout the entire pregnancy journey, from prenatal care to postpartum recovery.
The platform consolidates essential services into five main categories, including all prenatal check-up records and lab reports; smart weight tracking and personalized nutrition guidance; psychological assessments and support through a cross-departmental network; seamless booking for prenatal classes and postnatal care; and key tips for postpartum recovery and newborn care.
The complete pregnancy cycle data integration displays key indicators, data, test results, and scan reports from prenatal check-ups. Meanwhile, the smart weight monitoring and nutritional guidance offer dietary advice, sample meal plans, and other nutritional details based on changes in the pregnant woman’s weight.
Moreover, the psychological assessment and support create a mental health network through cross-departmental collaboration and appointment scheduling, making one-stop services like prenatal assessments, prenatal education, and postnatal care easier to access.
Also provided are postpartum recovery and baby care tips, including information on postpartum recovery, newborn and maternal care, and activities at Family Integrated Service Centres, along with registration details.
This initiative directly supports the government’s policy to create a more birth-friendly environment and optimize public health resources.
Furthermore, to implement the policy of “bringing resources closer to the community,” SSM, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Bureau, is partnering with several Family Integrated Service Centers. Ricaela Diputado
