Jazz lovers are invited to The St. Regis Bar to the first ‘Jack’s Club’ live jazz evening showcasing a catalogue of Macao’s finest artists this Saturday, June 26.
Named in honor of the St. Regis founder John “Jack” Jacob Astor IV, the inaugural monthly event will see guests treated to live performances by resident musician Aaron Lo, and vocalist Jandira Silva, as well as a special band appearance by the Tomos Griffiths’ Trio.
Lead singer Tomos Griffiths is set to bring a lifetime of vocal artistry to the Jack’s Club evening, having performed in London’s prestigious West End in world famous productions including Chess, The Far Pavillions, and the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical masterpiece –Phantom of the Opera.
The Tomos Griffiths’ Trio, complete with keyboardist Joao Mascarenhas and bassist Ivan Pineda together with Aaron and Jandira are set to create an unforgettable celebration of jazz in the elegant surroundings of The St. Regis Bar.
Daniella Tonetto, General Manager of Sales & Marketing at The St. Regis Macao, said the first Jack’s Club cements The St. Regis Bar as the premier jazz venue in Macao.
“Jazz music is synonymous with the St. Regis brand and we are excited to bring this catalogue of world class jazz talent together at The St. Regis Bar, the perfect platform to highlight the best jazz music in town,” she added.
The next Jack Club event will be held on Saturday, July 31, when a group of talented jazz artistes known as Macau Vibe will make a special appearance.
Jack’s Club showcases are scheduled on the last Saturday of each month over the summer on August 28 and September 25, culminating in a poolside gathering on October 30 at the St. Regis Pool Deck featuring special band appearances, vocalists and resident musicians for a celebration of jazz and fine food and beverage.
