During its marketing campaign in Shandong Province, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has taken the opportunity to present mainland residents with Macanese cuisine to persuade them to visit Macau. The showcase was held in association with Wynn Macau, which deployed Chefs David Wong and Otília Novo from its Wynn Food and Beverage Academy. Local Macanese cuisine chef Raymond Vong also took a role in the kitchen. They co-presented pig ear salad, sautéed clams in white wine, grilled sardines, Macanese crab curry and Macanese Minchi, among other delicacies. The MGTO said the showcase attracted a big audience.
