Two workers injured in cement panel accident
Two mainland Chinese workers were injured in an industrial accident in Cotai according to emergency services. The Fire Services Bureau said the men were struck by a cement panel while on duty around 7 p.m. Wednesday. One of the victims, a 33-year-old man, suffered injuries to his left forearm and chest and was rushed to Conde S. Januário Hospital for treatment. The second victim, aged 36, sustained injuries to his right wrist and abdomen. Both were conscious when transported to the hospital. Authorities confirmed the Labour Affairs Bureau has been notified and is following up on the incident.
