Law enforcement officers at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) discovered a cross-boundary vehicle traveling from Macau to Guangdong smuggling 31 bottles of Moutai from Zhuhai highway port of HZMB to mainland China last Thursday. During the inspection, the liquor was found hidden in the trunk, doors, seat storage compartments, and under floor mats. The authorities in Guangdong will further inspect the vehicle as required. The authorities issued a reminder that evading customs supervision by hiding, disguising, or concealing illegal products may be criminal and will be investigated.
DSAL co-holds workshop for construction workers
The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) and Macao Construction Industry General Union jointly held the first session on “understanding prefabricated building construction” at the Seac Pai Wan Vocational Training Center on June 11. According to the scheme, more than 2,000 vocational training places can be provided for the construction industry each year. The workshop teaches participants about prefabricated building construction technology.
IC holds heritage carnival
On “China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day” to promote the concept of “Protecting and Appreciating Our Cultural Heritage Together,” the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) held the “China Cultural and Natural Heritage Day Carnival 2022” at the Mount Fortress Garden and the Macao Museum over the weekend. The IC also held an awards ceremony for the “2021 Guided Tour for Children in Practice Project” of the Macao Museum. A total of 22 people who completed the training course have become tour guides. They explain the history and culture of Macau to the public and visitors.
