Yellow high temperature warning in effect across Macau

As of 1 p.m. yesterday, temperatures across Macau have soared above 31 degrees Celsius, with the Outer Harbour monitoring station recording a high of 34.2 degrees and Coloane urban area reaching 33.9 degrees. The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau predicts continued intense heat over the coming days, with some areas expected to exceed 33 degrees. Meanwhile, showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase later this week under the influence of a low-pressure trough.
