Briefs | 9 Immunization Incidents reported within 24 hours

 

Between 4 p.m. on March 12 and 4 p.m. on March 13, nine adverse events following immunization (AEFI) for the Covid-19 vaccine have been recorded by the Health Bureau, with all of them reported to be mild responses. A total of 62 AEFIs, including one severe case, has been recorded since the roll-out of the vaccines. As of 4 p.m. yesterday, 28,767 individuals have been inoculated. Travelers from Taiwan will automatically get the green Macau Health Code after their 14-day hotel quarantine, provided they have passed the required nucleic acid tests.

IPM holds employment fair for graduating students

More than 70 local and Greater Bay Area entities participated at the Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM) career fair last week, held both online and offline. The event attracted more than 1,500 participants. About a dozen talks, by both public and private entities, were held to better equip participants for the employment market. English résumé writing and job interview workshops were also held.

Applications open for 2021 Scripts in Focus

Applications for the “2021 Scripts in Focus – Film Scriptwriting Advanced Programme” are now open until April 20. Winning projects will be awarded with a prize of MOP60,000. Co-organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, two representative projects will be selected from each of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. The two winning projects to be awarded a prize will be selected from among these six projects. The competition aims to promote film production through the cultivation of filmmaking talent.
