The Municipal Affairs Bureau has extended the opening hours for six municipal cemeteries during the weekend for the upcoming Chung Yeung Festival. On October 29, the day of the festival, and from November 1 to 3, the opening hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The bureau urges the public to visit during off-peak times and to use public transportation as much as possible. Residents are advised to place joss paper in designated incineration facilities for burning during worship and to ensure all flames are completely extinguished before leaving, as well as to remove all offerings and garbage.
