First batch of central provident funds withdrawals processed
The Social Security Fund (FSS) has begun crediting accounts for the first batch of withdrawals from the Special Allocation of the Budget Surplus 2024. Over 82,000 eligible individuals, including senior citizens and those receiving disability pensions, will see funds deposited today. Automatic payments are made to seniors aged 65 and older or those under 65 receiving a disability pension from FSS in August. Meanwhile, those who submitted paper applications will receive their funds by Oct. 23. Residents can register for automatic withdrawals during their application process this year.
