Data released by the Financial Services Bureau shows gaming tax revenue in April reached MOP9.07 billion, up about 2% month-on-month. From January to April, cumulative gaming tax revenue totaled MOP34.87 billion, a 16% year-on-year increase, with an execution rate of 37.7%. Total public fiscal revenue for the period reached MOP41.27 billion, of which gaming taxes accounted for 84%. Total expenditure stood at MOP23.11 billion, leaving a fiscal surplus of MOP18.16 billion, up MOP7.61 billion year-on-year.
