GBA youth camp blends sport, tech and sustainability

China News Service reported yesterday that the 2025 GBA Youth Sports & Culture Camp concluded after a sixday, fivenight programme across Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The camp used a “sports +” model, linking sports with tech innovation and green living. It opened at Shenzhen’s Biosphere 3 carbonneutral test park, where participants honed ball skills under top coaches, engaged in AIcoding and robotics activities, and explored lowcarbon technologies. The second phase moved to Hong Kong’s Wu Kai Sha Youth Village, where youth from Guangdong and Hong Kong played football and basketball, forged friendships and toured marineconservation and science exhibits.
