Macau braces for thunderstorms as low-pressure trough approaches
A low-pressure trough over the northern South China Sea may develop into a low-pressure system, bringing strong winds, frequent showers, and thunderstorms to Macau from the middle to late part of this week through early next week. The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) forecasts mostly cloudy conditions with highs near 32 degrees and possible thunderstorms. Today will see occasional showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures between 26 and 30 degrees and gusty easterly to northeasterly winds of force five to six. Unsettled weather is expected to persist into next week.
