MGM opens new hotel in Shenzhen

MGM China has expanded its Greater Bay Area presence with the opening of MGM Shenzhen Prince Bay, a 298-room luxury hotel in Shekou’s Nanshan District.
The hotel, developed by MGM Hospitality Group (Asia Pacific), is located near the Shekou Cruise Home Port and is positioned to serve both regional and international visitors.
MGM China chairperson and executive director Pansy Ho said the opening reflects the company’s continued commitment to the China market and Greater Bay Area.
The hotel features 298 ocean-view guestrooms and suites, five dining venues, more than 3,000 square meters of event space, a fitness center and a heated swimming pool.
The opening was marked by a gala dinner featuring a culinary collaboration between chefs from MGM Shenzhen Prince Bay and Mgm Cotai’s Michelin-starred restaurants Aji and Five Foot Road in Macau.
The company said the new property is intended to support Prince Bay’s development as a waterfront destination combining hospitality, tourism, dining and entertainment.
