MGTO projects busy festive season

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has expressed optimism about the city’s tourism outlook, noting most visitors plan short stays. Although specific hotel occupancy rates for the Christmas holiday are unavailable as yet, December is typically a strong indicator of tourist activity. Deputy director Cheng Wai Tong is confident Macau will reach its target of 33 million visitors this year, potentially exceeding 34 million.
