Outdoor venue outsourcing tender planned to boost efficiency, value

The Cultural Affairs Bureau plans to launch a public tender by mid-2026 to outsource operations of the outdoor performance venue, aiming for handover to a private operator in 2027 to enhance commercial value and cost efficiency. The site has hosted seven large-scale events since phased trial operations began in 2024. Authorities said crowd control, transport, and safety measures will be continuously refined, while added leisure facilities and a planned community stage aim to increase accessibility and local cultural engagement.
