String ‘Trio Time for Three’ debuts in Macau with the Macao Orchestra

The American string trio Time for Three will make its debut in Macau, performing with the Macao Orchestra in the concert “Starlight Symphony,” presenting a blend of various musical styles at the Macao Cultural Center on November 30 at 8 p.m.

In this concert, they will perform classical, Americana, and pop music pieces, complemented by vocal performances from the trio.

The performance, including an intermission, lasts approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will jointly host the concert with the Macao Orchestra and Sands China Ltd.

Time for Three consists of violinists Nicolas Kendall and Charles Yang and double bassist Ranaan Meyer.

They are known for their ability to adapt American bluegrass, folk, and pop music using only three instruments, merging classical and contemporary genres to create a unique style that has earned them acclaim.

Time for Three received an Emmy Award for their live album “Time for Three in Concert,” and their album “Letters for the Future” won a Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Solo.

The concert is sponsored by the Sands China Performing Arts Program, and tickets are available for purchase through the Macao Ticketing website, with prices set at MOP300, MOP250, MOP200, and MOP150. Ricaela Diputado
