UTM, Tencent host AI hotel session

The Macao University for Tourism Studies (UTM) and Tencent recently hosted a closed-door seminar at Tencent’s Binhai Building. The Macau Tourism Group seminar brought together university researchers, integrated resort representatives, and Tencent experts to discuss generative AI trends. Topics discussed during the session included large language models, smart customer service, personalized recommendations, and operational efficiencies, with keynote speeches and case studies.Per UTM, group discussions addressed digital transformation challenges, aiming to advance Macau’s goal of becoming a world-class tourism hub through industry-academia collaboration.
