Zhuhai unveils plans for massive entertainment complex at border gate
Local authorities in Zhuhai have announced plans to transform several bustling streets near the Zhuhai-Macau border into a new entertainment and tourism hub. The 580-meter redevelopment project, led by Zhengyuan Holding, will convert the area that was once home to street vendors, hairdressers, and casual eateries into a center for “cultural tourism, consumption and socializing”. Construction, originally scheduled to begin in March, is now underway and the project is expected to be one of the top 10 events in Xiangzhou district this year.
