Zhuhai to let three children ride free per adult
Yesterday, Zhuhai authorities announced new “Zhuhai Public Bus and Trolleybus Riding Rules,” effective next month for five years, expanding free rides for families. According to the announcement, adults are allowed to bring up to three children under 1.3 meters tall or below compulsory school age (with ID) for free, up from one child under 1.2 meters previously. Additional children require tickets. The rules ban battery-powered devices like e-bikes and scooters (except for accessibility wheelchairs) to prevent fires. Luggage limits rise to 30 kg, 0.3 cubic meters, or 1.8 meters long, from the previous 20 kg, 0.05 cubic meters, and 1.6 meters.
