A Brazilian business mission is due to begin a trip to Southern Africa with visit to South Africa, Mozambique and Angola, said the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion (Apex). The mission, which includes 30 representatives of Brazilian companies linked to the machinery and equipment, construction, food and drinks and hygiene and cosmetics sectors is due to end its visit on 25 July.
The delegation, which will visit Johannesburg Tuesday, will then travel onwards to Maputo until 18 July and later to the Angolan capital, Luanda, to take part in the 31st Luanda International Fair (Filda) from 22 to 27 July to be part of the Brazilian pavilion at the fair. In 2011 a mission of 50 Brazilian companies that also travelled to South Africa, Angola and Mozambique signed deals worth US$112 million according to Apex. MDT/Macauhub
