City sees over MOP600b bonds on marketplace
Bonds totaling MOP600 billion in value have been issued to the marketplace, according to the Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange (MOX). In an update yesterday, the operator of Macau’s bond market said that bonds denominated in RMB amounted to approximately MOP228.5 billion, while the value of green bonds issued through the MOX reached MOP108.8 billion. “In 2023, the number and size of bonds listed on the MOX increased by 167.5% and 53.1% year-on-year respectively,” the statement read.
