The Macao Gaming Show (MGS) is the first major gaming show in Macau organized by Macau organizations. It is the gathering place for global gaming professionals eyeing the fast growing Asian gaming market.
MGS will have a floor area of over 10,000 m2. Exhibitors and buyers eyeing the Asian market will be coming from all corners of the world. The event will cover six gaming industry segments, including: Gaming Equipment and Accessories, Gaming Promoters (Junkets) and VIP Clubs, Casino Fixtures and Fittings, Promotional Services and Memorabilia, Food and Beverage, and Entertainment and Performance.
The Macao Gaming Summit is the conference that is held together with MGS. It will be an opportunity to hear what gaming experts have to say about latest regulatory issues, hottest growth areas for gaming in Asia, gaming best practices, and of course, the hot topic: iGaming. Topics being covered in iGaming include regulatory, business opportunities, virtual currency, and technology.
The Summit is also the place to network where gaming regulators, senior gaming executives, academics, and investment analysts will share their views.
International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) are the co-organizers of The Macao Gaming Summit. Notable IMGL and GSA representatives will also be speaking at the event.
CESL Asia volunteer group visits “Peng on Tung” tele-assistance service users
A group of volunteers from CESL Asia presented hand-knitted scarves and daily necessities to the elderly and ‘Peng On Tung’ Tele-Assistance service users during individual visits to their homes on Saturday.
This came on the heels of a charity sale held on the ground floor of the AIA Tower by CESL Asia on the previous day, raising a total of MOP20,779.67 for the city’s ‘Peng On Tung’ Tele-Assistance Service Center. The company’s President and CEO Mr. António Trindade presented a check in the ceremony at the service center earlier on the visit day.
The senior recipients welcomed the volunteers to their homes and were grateful the handmade scarves and gifts. Through conversation, the volunteer team was able to gain a fuller understanding of daily life of the elderly and how the tele-assistance service benefits them terms of their residential safety and convenience. It is hoped that more public awareness can be drawn to the seniors and more services can also put in place to address their needs in future.
