Galaxy expands responsible gaming push surrounding World Cup

Galaxy Entertainment Group recently expanded its responsible gaming outreach through a World Cup-themed campaign targeting employees and the wider Macau community.
According to the company, the “GEG Responsible Gaming Promotional Program: Football World Cup Series” combined staff engagement with public education efforts. GEG’s activities were organized with local groups, including the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Service Coordination Office.
This community event focused on responsible gaming awareness during the FIFA World Cup and was sponsored by the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) and organized by Bosco Youth Service Network – FREEland with the Macao University of Tourism (UTM).
According to the company, GEG has recorded more than 250,000 participations in responsible gaming programs since 2008, with nearly 140 employees certified under government-backed schemes.
Launched in April, the activities also align with the government’s “Learn RG (responsible gaming), Keep the Fun Alive” initiative.
