Man rescued from illegal lenders in Cotai casino case

A man from mainland China was imprisoned after borrowing money from illegal lenders to gamble at a casino in Cotai. The man borrowed HKD280,000 in chips, paying HKD160,000 in interest, but lost all his money. He was confined for six hours in a hotel room, during which he secretly contacted relatives for help. Upon receiving a report, the Judiciary Police rescued the victim and arrested two mainland suspects, aged 43 and 35, involved in the illegal lending operation.
