Melco Resorts & Entertainment and the Macau MotoSurf Association (MMSA) organized a workshop at Hac Sa Beach on Saturday to introduce local youth to the emerging sport of MotoSurfing.
The event, held in collaboration with Mong Ha Youth House and Melco Parent-Child Volunteers, aimed to promote sporting diversity and nurture local talent.
During the session, MMSA representatives explained the sport’s background, safety requirements, and the upcoming 2025 UIM Macao Grand Prix MotoSurf World Championship Finale, scheduled for November 21-23 at the same venue.
Participants also experienced a MotoSurf trial in the water.
Mong Ha Youth House social worker Cheong Hoi Kei said the activity offered children “a novel, fun and rewarding” experience. This year’s MotoSurf World Championship Finale will expand into a coastal festival featuring food stalls, beach games, and creative workshops, with free admission.
