MGM and Chef Neta present ‘Casa to MGM: A Celebration of Macanese Cuisine’ at Rossio

MGM China has launched a month-long culinary program in collaboration with renowned Macanese chef Antonieta Fernandes Manhão, known as Chef Neta, to celebrate Macanese gastronomic heritage and strengthen Macau’s position as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
Titled “Casa to MGM: A Celebration of Macanese Cuisine,” the program runs from June 6 to July 5 at Rossio, MGM Macau. It features a limited-time menu, A Living Table of Macau, inspired by Chef Neta’s cookbook Receita di Casa – Homemade Macanese Cuisine. Signature dishes include Macanese Prawn Lacassa, Mixed Minchi, Shrimp with White Radish Curry, and Pork Ribs with Balichão and Tamarind.
The launch included “Heritage Encounter with Chef Neta,” featuring book signings, sharing sessions, and pastry masterclasses on traditional Macanese cornstarch biscuits.
MGM said the initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to preserving Macanese culinary traditions and promoting them globally, including through international cookbook award recognition and training collaborations.
