Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce delegation visits Forum Macau

Representatives from the Macau Delegation of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCILC), led by president Leong Wa Kun, recently visited the office of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macau) and were received by Secretary-General Xu Yingzhen, deputy secretary-general Rodrigo Brum and Deputy Secretary-General Glória Batalha Ung. Xu said she was willing to further strengthen co-operation with the Chamber in future, to pursue the same common goal together. Meanwhile, she hoped that Macau would be well-prepared for development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, taking advantage of the role as a platform. In this regard, the Permanent Secretariat will push for promotion and co-operation with various enterprises. Leong said that “the Chamber will continue to recruit Chinese enterprises’ members, allowing both Chinese and Portuguese enterprises to exchange ideas and promote multilateral co-operation through the platform offered by the Chamber, in a bid to further push for economic and trade co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.”
