The government announced that three new cultural activity spaces will be added this year: a row of preserved Portuguese-style villas along Avenida do Coronel Mesquita, the basement of the Tap Seac Square Commercial Centre, and a space in the Zone A-2 Podium Buildings. The venues are planned for community cultural activities and performing arts rehearsals. Meanwhile, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will renovate existing facilities, opening the Mandarin’s House, Lou Kau Mansion, Mount Fortress Garden, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Mount Fortress Corridor, and the Multi-function Room of the Bairro da Ilha Verde Library for short-term use by cultural groups and community organizations.
